Item
An individual Formica laminate design or product with a unique reference code.
Item Reference Code
A unique Formica identifier, normally containing four digits with a letter prefix, which is assigned to each design within the Formica product offer and applies throughout the world. It is used as a reference in identifying, specifying and ordering products. An item reference code indicates only the design of the laminate and does not define details such as surface finish, grade, or sheet size.
