Formica Group erhåller prestigefyllda GREENGUARD certifieringen för inomhus luftkvalitet med lågemitterande produkter

Formica Group har tillkännagett att produkter från företagets tio internationella produktionsanläggningar har uppnått GREENGUARD-certifieringarna Indoor Air Quality Certification (för produkter som bidrar till god inomhusluftkvalitet) och/eller Children & Schools Certification (för produkter som är säkra att använda i skolor och andra miljöer där barn vistas). Detta är de främsta märkningarna för produkter som avger minimalt med kemikalier. Produkter ur Formicas® laminat- och DecoMetal® by Formica Group-sortiment har blivit GREENGUARD-certifierade för inomhusluftkvalitet.

Forest Stewardship Council tilldelar Formica Groups europeiska tillverkningsanläggningar och distributionscenter FSC®:s spårbarhetscertifiering

Samtliga Formica Groups europeiska tillverkningsanläggningar och distributionscenter har uppnått Forest Stewardship Councils (FSC:s) internationellt erkända spårbarhetscertifiering ”Chain of Custody” (COC). Certifieringen genomfördes av det ledande ackrediteringsorganet BM TRADA. Detta garanterar att material som används vid framställningen av Formicas® högtryckslaminat (HPL) och träbaserade limmade produkter kommer från ansvarsfullt förvaltade skogar.

Sigvard Bernadottes Virrvarr firar 50 år med designtävling
I år fyller Sigvard Bernadottes välkända mönster Virrvarr 50 år. Det firar laminattillverkaren Formica genom att arrangera designtävlingen Formica Impress Design Award 2008. Tävlingen går ut på att skapa ett mönster till Fomicas laminat och kommer att utlysas på Stockholm Furniture Fair den 6-10 februari.
